Reason for Absence:

Form needs to be submitted as soon as conflict is known and no later than 2 weeks before date.  Form can be placed in box or handed to Drum Major.  Three unexcused absences are grounds for removal from the group.  Students are expected to be at all rehearsals and performances but are to use this form on those rare occasions when conflicts cannot be avoided.  Even if absence is authorized, band members may still not be allowed to perform if they are not prepared musically or visually (knowing drill) to perform.
