Stuffed Pear Salad

2 3-opunce packages cream cheese

2 cups creamed cottage cheese

1 cup snipped pitted dates

1 cup dices toasted almonds

8 fresh pears

lemon juice

salad greens

Soften cream cheese; blend with cottage cheese.  Add dates and almonds; refrigerate for 3 hours.  Pare, halve and scoop out centers of pears.  Sprinkle pear halves generously with lemon juice.  Arrange 2 pear halves on salad greens on individual salad plates.  Fill each pear half with cheese mixture.
